先日起きた駿河湾地震で東名高速道路の一部が崩落した。崩落した現場の映像を撮るために、多くの取材陣からカメラアングルが良いと思われる実家の敷地を使わせてほしいという申し入れがあった。実家の茶畑に新芽が出始めた時期だったので新芽が傷つくのではないかという心配も多少はあったが、取材の重要性を考え快く許可した。結局、5日間各局の取材は続いた。しかし、取材が終わった時に「ご迷惑をおかけしました。ありがとうございました」と言って帰ったのは1社だけだった。他のメディアは知らないうちにいなくなっていた。取材陣が去ってから取材場所を見ると、タバコの吸殻やごみなどが落ちていたり、茶畑は踏み潰され新芽は傷ついていた。許可を出したのだから仕方がないのだが、放送局は放送ではもっともらしいことを言っているのだから、それを取材するスタッフにもモラルの向上やマナーの教育をするべきだと思う。
