私のまわりで言えば、35歳ぐらいの段階で2億円ぐらいの貯蓄のある人はざらにいるわけで、そういう人たちはたいていどうするかというと、会社をやめて(事業をやめて)、あとはのんびり暮らすわけだ。もちろん、そういう人たちはブログで「俺、2億持ってるぜｗｗｗ」みたいな自慢はしない。そんな自慢をして命を狙われてはかなわないからだ。情報の発信などせず物静かに暮らすのみである。つまり、そういう人達の情報は、なかなかブログではお目にかかれない。


ブログに出てくるのは、技術者として二流か、ビジネスセンスがないのか、会社を経営したり働き続けることに生きがいを感じているだとか、そんなに貯蓄する気がなく使いつづけたので働かざるを得ない人とか、まあ、そういった人達だ。別にそれらは全然悪いこっちゃないが。


35歳の現場の技術者が「一流の技術者になるには英語と数学を勉強しておきなさい」とか言っても私ならそんな意見にはこれっぽっちも耳を貸さない。35歳なら、もうとっくにセミリタイアしていておかしくない年齢だ。その技術者はもしかしたら本当に一流の技術者かも知れないが、ビジネスマンとしては三流だ。みんなもそういう人が居たら、「英語と数学を勉強してもあんたのようにしかなれないじゃないか！」と言ってやるといい。(そのあとどうなっても知らんけど)
